The Hotel Di Stefano is located in the historic city centre, within the Medieval walls, in an area where archaeological finds testify settlements dating back to the Etruscan era, a few steps away from Cathedral Square where the famous Leaning Tower is.
Despite the very central location, the area is particularly quiet and protected from noise.
Everything was very nice, staff always friendly, the family-run hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, well located in the centre of the wonderful city of Pisa and close to the attractions. Thank you.
The Hotel Di Stefano is located in the historic city centre, in an area where archaeological finds testify settlements dating back to the Etruscan era, over 2500 years ago.
One of the two buildings the facility is composed of is a former Tower-house dating back to the 11th century. Thanks to recent renovations, it is possible to admire the original configuration with cross vaults and supporting pillars in the breakfast room.
In addition, the Deluxe rooms, located on the 4 upper floors, also have beams, rafters and the original exposed wall structure.
A true immersion in the glorious Pisa of the Middle Ages!
It was April 7, 1969 when Vincenzo Di Stefano and his wife Rocca Dellaria opened the Hotel Di Stefano business, initially as a boarding house to host students from the nearby Scuola Normale Superiore and University of Studies.
It later became a real hotel, acquiring 1 star, then 2, up to 3 stars from 1993, enriched by the Deluxe area in the former Medieval tower-house as of 2010.
Over the years the family management has continued with Carlo, Vincenzo’s son, and his wife Concetta up to the present day with the grandchildren Vincenzo, Riccardo and Giulia.
The dedication is always the same and continues to be aimed at ensuring a family atmosphere and attention to the smallest details, while offering excellent quality in services, cleanliness of the rooms and common areas and attention to our guests’ needs.
